"For the Love of Mini"

Hello Everyone,

One of my guests came in today with a picture of a nail art design she wanted on her nails. I do not know who originated it but I decided it was cute enough to do a simple tutorial. I've dubbed it "For the Love of Mini"
First start with a red polish and create a french ...simple right?
Then with a very small stripper brush ( I use a #10 liner brush called Simply Simmons I get from Michaels) and black acrylic paint create a smile line above the red. This is the best time to correct any mistakes you may have made when laying down the red polish. Make the line smooth.
Then with a dotting tool and white acrylic paint add random dots. Don't be afraid to let some of the dots "fall off the edge" this makes it look more like fabric.
Then with the same brush and using your black acrylic paint make two triangles with points towards each other. When you reach the point drag your brush down in a random pattern to create your ribbon. Top coat and your done...isn't it cute. We all love Mini!!!

Getting Started

Hello and welcome!

I wanted to start a blog to share my nail art, love of all art, and what I've learned over the years in this industry. Nail art has become very popular again and I am excited about it.
My wish is to share tips tricks and techniques to help you become a better artist. Artists share, that's what we do, and we all learn from each other. We "steal" techniques and grow from each other.
One thing I have learned as an artist is that we all need each other to succeed. If you have a trick, advice, or a way to help others I hope you will share. Inspiration comes from many different places and I hope to help you find your own.

 Have a Successful day!!
